Some of you who follow me on FB and Twitter may have seen my post last week about getting back on track in time to end the year on a high note! I’ve been bad…I’ve been failing at all of my attempts to get back on track, back on paleo, back on the fitness wagon, and back to being positive each day (that was a resolution for 2012).
I plan to challenge all of you to get back on track with me!!!! That’s right… I’m tired of going it alone. This includes the successes and the failures. Lets take this challenge together.
First – we’ll start with a short and manageable challenge to get us moving in the right direction… a 5 day Challenge.
Then – we’ll ramp things up a bit with a longer and more substantial challenge – a 21 day stent of cutting “something” (I already have that something in mind – to be revealed later) out of our diets for the 21 day time frame.
Lastly – we will really challenge ourselves with a 30-day stent of trying something completely new! (I already have that something in mind – to be revealed later!)
I’m doing my research and homework on all of these – I want to be able to present them in the best way possible so that there is no confusion about what we’ll be doing. Don’t worry – none of these challenges require anything involving fitness. I believe that you have to get your head on straight before you can start to incorporate the physical fitness aspect of everything. So you can still be a couch potato and do these challenges!
then take these challenges and see how you can do – even the most disciplined individuals will find these 3 separate challenges… well, challenging – I promise! WE all need to be influenced by one another – having someone who is already on board with what we are trying to do here will make the group activity that much better!
If you choose to accept my challenge(s) and end this year with a bang just in time to be making resolutions for 2013 – you will not be alone. I will be on the FB pages daily – posting how I am doing and asking for updates on all of you. These groups will be the main area of support and conversation as we move forward from one day to the next.
Then just tune in and listen to what we’re all saying – I am sure that there will be at least one other person in the group that you’ll be able to connect with, relate too, or sympathize with.
Each day is a fresh start to make it better than the day before. The idea here is to slowly work our way up to the big 30-day challenge and support each as we go. As I mentioned above – I’ve been bad…I’m doing this as much for myself as I am for all of you! Let’s do this together!
there will be prizes/giveaways for the people who participate the most in group discussion, who are positive motivators for others, and for the people who don’t cheat – this will have to be a big prize b/c no cheating is a big deal in my book! If you can manage just one of these – you’ll be a success!
